The right shoulder brace is critical during the healing process
and rehabilitation of a shoulder injury. The correct brace can give
you a sense of confidence to move more freely.
Many athletes are diagnosed with subluxation or dislocation of the
shoulder. But what is the difference between the two?
Shoulder subluxation, also referred to as a partial dislocation,
is the result of two joint surfaces not making contact with each
other in the usual way. This may feel like the shoulder has "popped
in and out of the joint" or the shoulder may feel "loose" within
the joint.
Shoulder dislocation occurs when the bone actually comes
out of the joint. The main symptoms of a dislocated shoulder are
severe pain and extreme difficulty in moving the arm.
Either one of these injuries can greatly interfere with or even
end an athlete's career.
The Cadlow™ Shoulder Stabilizer was developed
as a multi-sport shoulder brace to give stability to the shoulder
while allowing the athlete to maintain his/her full range of motion.
Its variable resistive exercise can be increased as the athlete's
strength increases.
The Cadlow is not like other shoulder braces. You will have the
ability to fully function in the field or on the floor without the
fear of pain or re-injury.
Don't sit on the sidelines, contact DM Systems
for your Cadlow and get back into the game.
**The Cadlow Shoulder Stabilizer is not to be used for rotator cuff
injuries and dislocations in stroke victims. ** |
